If you use the GWA-OW Calculator software, please check your inbox because we sent an email this afternoon, March 31, 2020, that contained detailed instructions for the following:

1. How to create a new General Ledger Account in the software for the new emergency Transitional Support Fund.

2. How to issue a payment using the new emergency Transitional Support Fund account.

3. How to track your expenditures under the new emergency Transitional Support Fund account.

In light of the Ontario provincial government’s release of the list of businesses that are permitted to continue operation at this time, we now have GOOD NEWS! As our business falls under the categories of IT Service Providers and Social Services (a business that supports the provision of social services), we will remain open!

We will continue to operate as per our usual business hours of Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Time. As the pandemic situation and associated restrictions are constantly evolving, we will email all our clients again and post a message here to let everyone know of any future changes that are issued by the government that have an effect upon the operation of our business.

We will be closing our office at 5 p.m. Eastern Time on March 24, 2020 in order to comply with the provincial mandate just announced this afternoon regarding the closure of all non-essential businesses in Ontario by midnight tomorrow. Right now, the order to close will run for at least 14 days from March 25 to April 7, 2020.

All of our clients were notified by email today of our impending closure tomorrow.

In the event that the province extends the order to close beyond April 7, we will notify all our clients by email again and post another announcement here.

We sent an email today to users of the GWA-OW Calculator software and the Income Assistance Manager software programs. The email contained detailed instructions on how you can access each software program from home if your office ends up shutting down this week in an effort to prevent the transmission of the coronavirus.

Also, as we mentioned in the email, our office is still open! We are operating our usual 9am-5pm ET hours, Monday to Friday.

In the event that we need to close the office due to illness or due to a citywide quarantine, we will notify all of our clients by email and we will post an update on our Facebook page. Don’t worry – you’ll still be able to contact us even once the office is closed.
